Lindsey Vonn (born 18 Oct 1984) is an ex-retired American alpine skiing champion who took home silver in the downhill section of the Winter Olympics 2010. She has the second-highest super score of any skier either female or male. Her name is most well-known as well as one of America's most loved skiers. Caroline Vonn, also known by her name Lindsey Vonn, is an American World Cup alpine racer that is part of the US Ski Team. She has taken home all-around World Cup competition four times. She is one of the most well-known athletes in American history. Six women have been the only ones to win all five World Cup alpine ski events. She won the World Cup 82 times. One of the finest skiers in the world and the most popular American ski racer has decided to retire following the World Championship which will take place in Sweden. A string of health problems have led to this Four-time World Cup Overall Champion to choose to quit her job. Social media was the method used to make her announcement of retirement.
