Ina-Garten

Ina Garten is an American author of cookery books as well as Emmy Award-winning host of Food Network's longest-running program Barefoot Contessa which began broadcasting in 2002 and will run for 27 seasons to 2020. Ina began working for the White House as a writer of nuclear energy policies and also the budget. In the beginning, she found her work as stimulating intellectually, but eventually lost interest and purchased a tiny food specialty store named Barefoot Contessa. Before selling the business the store, she worked for more than 18 years building it to a highly successful store. Numerous other cookbooks and magazine columns came later. The Food Network TV show also was launched with great hit. Her products range from appliances for kitchens to ingredient and storage containers. Ina is an aspiring cook that hasn't gone to a cooking academy and has never been in the kitchen. She is an easy cook, and also for her entertaining style. Her most well-known recipes include Skillet - Roasted Lemon Chicken Mac and Cheese, Mac and Beef Bourguignon. cheese, Beatty's Chocolate Cake, and Lemon Bars.
