Taylor Momsen was born in the city of St. Louis Missouri. She is an American model/singer/actress, singer/songwriter and model. Her most famous work is her character on the CW television series Gossip Girl as Jenny Humphrey and as the main singer of The Pretty Reckless. Momsen has seen her music featured in television and films including How to Be single Going the distance as well as Two and a Half Men. Taylor Momsen was born on June 26, 1993. she is the younger sibling of Sloane Momsen who is also an actress. She studied dance at the Center of Creative Arts in St. Louis. When she was just three years old, she was a professional actor in an Shake and Bake 1997 national television commercial. Momsen was on hiatus in her career for three years, before being selected as the main character in Misconceptions the WB television series. Momsen played a part in Saving Shiloh the 2006 film. She was also one of the three top potential candidates for Hannah Montana's lead character. However, Miley Cyrus was awarded the title role.
