Hayley orrantia was born in the United States. Her main focus is actress, but also a songwriter and singer. Many people recognize the name as Erica Goldberg, from the television comedy 'The Goldbergs. But, she is mostly an artist. According to her, music has always been her first love. At the age of 12 her music began to take an adolescent turn and she started training professionally. She ventured into songwriting at 13 and was 14 when she released her first album of cover songs. From then on she's not looked back. Orrantia is a native American and has Hispanic roots. Although she never lived or spoke Spanish in Mexico She is strongly proud of her Hispanic heritage. She tries to preserve it by studying Spanish and writing songs in the Spanish language. "Hasta Verte", a Spanish-language song which she recorded is an illustration. Orrantia appeared on The X Factor during its debut season in the summer of 2011. Orrantia was chosen as a result of a YouTube video submission and received the judges' four "yes" votes from judge during the live audition phase held in Seattle, Washington. Her initial audition was performing as a solo artist, however in the course of "Hollywood Week" the three female performers were added to groups to take part in the auditions. They were eliminated in the fifth week in the live shows.
